NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA LOCAL EMERGENCY PLANNING COMMITTEE

The North Central Florida LEPC (District 3) has the responsibility to increase chemical safety in our communities. This is accomplished through increasing response capability and accident prevention. Our tools include planning, training, reviewing, exercising, offering How-to-Comply assistance, and educating the public. Chemical releases and biological threats present dangers to first responders and the public. The North Central Florida Regional Hazardous Materials Response Team is one way that the LEPC is working to help keep our communities safe.
